Since day one after AbaQulusi Municipality Office Bearers Inauguration, His Worship The Mayor Cllr. SE Mkhwanazi took a decision to continuously engage with Community Development groups that were already structured within AbaQulusi Communities to deal with socio-economic issues namely : The AfriForum, the Greater Vryheid Citizens as well EMondlo Community Development committee. In this case His Worship The Mayor has opened his Office door for the aforementioned community development structurers in order to listen and urgently respond to the service delivery challenges Citizens of AbaQulusi Municipality are facing respectively within their Wards ( e.g. electricity, water & sanitation issues as well as town cleanliness campaigns).

Furthermore, the His Worship the Mayor together with the Acting Municipal Manager Mrs Sibongokuhle P. Dlamini has been working tirelessly both politically and administratively in making sure that the services owed to the public are rendered on time through communication and commitment towards rendering the services to the people within AbaQulusi Jurisdiction.
