ABAQULUSI CONTINUES TO CARE

ABAQULUSI CONTINUES TO CARE

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Giving support to the needy and the vulnerable people in our communities is a priority to our municipality, which is why on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, the Mayor Councillor Martin Mtshali, Speaker Councillor Micheal Khumalo and municipal officials visited the Bhekuluzulu township to donate food parcels to families that were affected by very strong winds of 24 March 2017 which damaged their houses. More than 70 families were affected.

The purpose of the donation was to provide relief to people whose lives have been affected by this disaster in order for them to restore their livelihoods. This is our small contribution for a humanitarian assistance and relief.

It is a goodwill gesture to demonstrate that we are a caring municipality. We pray for the families of the natural disaster, and AbaQulusi Municipality stand with them as they recover and rebuild. May god bless all those who have been affected.
